REFUNDS AND WARRANTY JELLYBAG®

JellyBag® goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law Act. Customers are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure of any of our goods. We comply with Australian Consumer Law. Should the product be faulty or defective on arrival, we will offer you, full replacement or full refund including postage /shipping. Customers are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Please do not jump on your JellyBag we will not be held responsible or liable for any consequences resulting from misuse of a JellyBag.

JellyBag covers have a two year warranty for all workmanship and manufacturing defects relating to the zips, seams and stitching. Please notify us within 14 days of receipt of your bag if there is damage to the cover.  Any damage due to jumping, misuse, or inappropriate use, will null and void your warranty. The seams are double stitched and can withstand  a lot of normal ware and tear but jumping on your JellyBag may bust it wide open so please don’t jump on them. If a genuine warranty claim is required to be lodged on our covers, we will require photographic evidence of the fault be provided, and if required that the cover be returned to us for evaluation.  We will asses if the damage is due to normal wear and tear or misuse.

JellyBag® only use Australian Made Dunlop Foams treated with Ultra Fresh and antimicrobial and anti fungal meaning your foam is healthy, hypoallergenic, dust-mite and bacteria free with a warranty of 5 years, If crumbed foam that is compacted for too long it can result in loss of support and sponginess. Regular maintenance of fluffing, rolling and kneading of your JellyBag® will ensure it maintains it air and support capacity.

We will not provide a remedy if a consumer:

  • simply changes their mind, or has no further use for it
  • discovers they can buy the goods or services more cheaply elsewhere
  • has damaged the goods by using them in a way that was unreasonable.
  • Purchased an incorrect size or size does not match exact colouring from computer monitor as they all differ

Our Australian made products are backed by a 5-year warranty on foam and 2 year warranty on covers for their intended use, under normal usage, to be free from defects in material and workmanship. JellyBag’s liability under this warranty is to repair, refund or replace (at its discretion) any part or product covered by this (or any implied). JellyBag will often send a part which may have been determined as faulty this part will need to be swapped over by the user.

This warranty does not cover:

  1. Any normal wear and tear on either the foam or cover
  2. Any damage from abnormal use, or abuse.
  3. Products which have not been maintained, or which have been modified.
  4. Any indirect or consequential loss.
  5. Any shipping costs for the return of warranty items (new items supplied to cover the product if deemed faulty will be shipped free of charge in the capital city metro area). The warranty item must be returned by the user to our nominated warehouse or drop off location before a replacement item is shipped or refund performed.
  6. Any packaging or boxing of items that are being returned under warranty.
  7. Any JellyBag that has been used on any surface with moisture.
  8. Any item that has been assembled by the consumer incorrectly causing failure.
  9. Only one refund or replacement per household/address is accepted.
  10. Any allergy related reaction – foams are treated with Ultra Fresh antimicrobial treatment and have a inside bladder and outside cover both of which are used at the consumers discretion.
  11. Minor imperfections and slight cosmetic flaws to the cover.
  12. Excluded damage includes but is not limited to stains, smoke or water damage, soiled or unsanitary JellyBag, burns, rips, tears or damage from an insufficient flooring.
  13. Any unsanitary condition or conditions caused by abusive activities.
  14. Individual or personalised preferences relating to firmness, texture, comfort, etc. of the JellyBag.
  15. Aroma from manufacturing of the foam or cover.

Any repair or replacement will not extend the original period of limited warranty, nor will it constitute the beginning of a new limited warranty period. Customers are entitled to one free replacement or repair (at JellyBags discretion) per order.

Any further replacements will require customer to pay postage and handling fee which will vary based on their location.

Customers will be responsible for the removal of the faulty product if disposal is required.

Jellybag makes no medical claims of being an all in one solution to any medical problems regarding its bags Allergies, discomfort, or other conditions, are not covered under this Warranty. Any questions or concerns regarding medical or health conditions should be addressed by a licensed physician.

This warranty applies only to the original purchase. Only direct purchases from JellyBag. Proof of purchase is required. The warranty is not transferable. All other warranties express or implied are excluded.

PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to return your JellyBag

You need to send us written confirmation of the below items (via email or post) as warranty and returns claims over the phone will not be excepted.

  1. Invoice for proof of purchase
  2. Name and description of goods
  3. Brief outline / description of what you think the problem or fault is that should be covered by warranty or reason for return
  4. Pictures of the product are also needed as part of the claim or returns process images must be clear and include:
    Where the bag is being used
    Picture of the floors it is used on
    Clear image of the top, bottom and sides of the bag
    Picture of the fault if a warranty is being claimed

If a JellyBag or item is purchased through Amazon or Ebay, no refund is available.

If a JellyBag is purchased through Amazon or Ebay the 5 ans 2 year warranty will still be applicable.

If a JellyBag product is purchased through AfterPay or ZipPay and returned the merchant fees charged by these companies will be deducted from the customer refund amount. Please note these charges can range from $50 – $200.
